BesenCasting

Every BesenBallett begins with a BesenCasting (broom casting)—a process designed to help each participant discover their ideal instrument: the broom that feels most natural and intuitive to them.

During a trial sweep, participants are guided through selecting the right broom from a variety of options. Exploring the shapes and designs of different brooms and testing how they handle reveals how strongly one's physique and movement style influence the choice of broom.

No prior experience in dance or music is required.

Age, background, and gender are irrelevant. What matters is an openness to dynamic, rhythmic group processes and a willingness to explore movement and sound.
